As the strategic real estate advisor to a multinational technology company, Drew Levine was determined to find them the best office space that met their business needs. After a thorough market study, the client elected to relocate from their location of 10 years and to move into a new and dynamic mixed-use retail and office park. Unfortunately, the new Class A office tower they were interested in wouldn’t be completed for another year and their current landlord refused to renew their lease for such a short term.
What looked like insurmountable odds were not enough to deter Drew. He was able to leverage Colliers’ relationships with other landlords in the Atlanta market, putting pressure on the current landlord to reconsider their position.
Meanwhile, he negotiated the lease for the new property, working towards a simultaneous closing on the short-term renewal and the long-term lease. Through his determination, he found a way to get his client into the space that works best for their business with minimal disruption.
